Jules is a highly specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist with 25 years postgraduate experience.
Jules gained extensive NHS experience before taking up a role as a Consultant Physiotherapist for the English Institute of Sport. This role included physiotherapy and rehabilitation provision to a wide range of Olympic athletes including swimmers, weight lifters, hockey players and judo players, and included a lead role for Badminton England over the Beijing games. She has worked with professional teams including Womens England RFU, Saracens Rugby Team, Mavericks Superleague Netball and for McLaren F1 Race Team. These roles have required a focus on a quick return to fitness post-injury, which is a skill she carries over to her new role at debenphysio.
Over the last 12 years, Jules has led injury assessment clinics for the British Army and more recently the RAF involving diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of complex injuries. She was awarded the Military Commanders Commendation for ‘distinguished and meritorious service’ in addition to gaining a Master’s degree in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound, and a distinction in Ultrasound Guided Injections, both skills which compliment injury management. She is an expert in sport injury diagnosis, treatment, and biomechanical assessment. She utilises manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, taping, and exercise prescription to benefit her patients, and ensures that self-help advice is priority.
Jules left her work with the MOD in 2023 to allow her to continue providing Physiotherapy services as a contractor to McLaren F1 Race Team. This is a role she is continuing in a fourth consecutive season alongside her work at debenphysio.
